Burt’s Bees Grapefruit Lip Balm VS Yes To Grapefruit Lip Balm

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I thought that since I am on my grapefruit kick and that this is the last beauty post of my birth month that I would share a comparison of two lip balms that have the same grapefruit scent. You would be surprised at the differences. Also, I keep both balms in my bag so the wear and tear you will read in “Packaging” will make sense.

Packaging: I know that lip balm is really easy to put in your bag and go, but with Yes to, you just get the best of the best! I love that the lip balm is slimmer and can even fit in smaller purses easier than even Burt’s Bees. However, I have noticed that my Yes To Lip balm is just losing the sticker cover. I know that it is just a sticker but the Burt’s Bees sticker wrapping is still going strong. Aside from that, I like that both of the lids pop securely on and off and the turn knob at the bottom is convenient and easy to use.

Durability: I can’t say 100% that one lasts longer because of the situations I am in when eating food or day to day. However, I have noticed that when I put on Burt’s Bees that my lips feel dry faster. The only bad thing about the Yes to lip balm is that it will become concave after adjusting to your lip shape. I apply mine vertically, which is why, but you can apply it horizontally and it will stay generally flat. I find that Yes to is a better choice because I don’t have to apply it so often.

Pigmentation: Both are that cream color that applies clear onto skin. I also think that the Burt’s Bees lip balm smells slightly stronger than the Yes to but they definitely shout “GRAPEFRUIT” when applying.

Budget: They both cost $2.99 or close to that depending on where you live.

Winner? I definitely think that Yes to is the clear winner only because it really does last longer. I will say that I am sad that the packaging is really worn out now but it doesn’t bother me.
