Review: It’s a 10 Leave In Conditioner + Keratin

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I don’t know if you remember the immense hype around this product but there was a time when this was in almost every haul or favorite video from beauty gurus. So, after rationalizing it in my head, I decided to go ahead and buy one of these.

Packaging: I like the packaging for the most part, there isn’t anything special about it. The only problem I had was that I had to turn it upside down when I was running really low because the tube didn’t sit on one side for me to just adjust the product that way. The nozzle gives a constant spray but I feel like the product is not dispersed as well as it could be because I have to spray 10-15 times to even get a good coverage on all of my hair.

Durability: On the back of this product, there are the ten things that It’s a 10 claims to do to your hair. I will be honest and tell you that I don’t know if all of these things work but I can tell you what did work, you can read that below the list.

Here we go:
1. Maintenance of keratin in straightening treatments
2. Increases styling and manageability
3. Perfect for all hair types
4. Replaces lost protein
5. Protects the natural keratin in hair
6. Protects against heat
7. Restores hydration balance
8. Detangles, defrizzes, and adds shine
9. Strengthens hair structure
10. Seals cuticles for extra silky hair.

I noticed that if I sprayed this on, in a bit of excess, that this would really help detangle my hair. I already use a conditioner which helps me out of the shower but gives an extra dose to help prevent tangles. Frizzy hair is something I deal with every time I get out of the shower and when I apply this, my hair does seem tame more than normal. I can definitely tell that there is shine in my hair after continuous use of this product. My hair definitely felt silky after every use because my ends can be kind of dry but this definitely helps make it smoother.

Pigmentation: This has a milky white coloring that isn’t as smooth as water or thick as gel, it is the in between of both. It’s a 10 also goes on milky white and dries clear.

Budget: All-in-all I wouldn’t say that this is a holy grail product, but it is nice to use…nice enough to spend $18? Probably not, but I am interested in other products from It’s a 10.

What is the next It’s a 10 product I should try? Let me know in the comments below.
