Time for another round of review and chit chat. I have an exciting tea and review of the Seatail Shop mermaid blanket.
New English Teas Rosehip and Hibiscus
Not sure how I would feel about this tea since it was mainly the packaging that drew me in. I love hibiscus but had never experienced the flavor of it. I have to say that the coloring is a beautiful deep pink. The taste is not something I normally aim for but it is different. The flavor is kind of bitter at the end of each sip but no in an unpleasant way. I find myself reaching for it as I am drinking this after every sentence, collecting the flavors and wanting more.
Seatail Shop Mermaid Blanket Review
I purchased this blanket with my own money and offered to do a review. This is not sponsored in any way either. Honesty is the best policy.

I found Seatail Shop through an ad on Facebook and thought of how cool it looked. I was going through a rough time at school, preparing for a big presentation that would determine if I would be a costume designer or technician. After a successful presentation and hard work, I decided to treat myself. I saw that this blanket was on sale and purchased it. I waited about a month for the blanket to arrive but it was well worth it! I think once you receive the blanket, you will realize the work and craftsmanship that went into something like this.
Below is a gallery of photos for you to get a real life look at my blanket which I have had since April/May.
I chose silver because it happened to be the most versatile at the time, now there is purple, black, and teal! I can’t wait to see what other colors come in the future. The last image above is the way that it came packaged which kept the blanket clean and safe during its travel to me.
I have used it frequently, excluding a gap when I was in Italy and London. I have worn it for hours at a time watching television, napping, or just using it for warmth while working. I think that this blanket is extremely durable and can withstand a lot of use. I am 5’1″ so having my feet at the very bottom of the tail and pulling the rest up, it rests up to my chest level. I will say that wearing shorts and having sensitive skin can cause subtle irritation. My legs brushing against the sequins made my skin itch at times. I also have to be careful, having unfiled nails, about snagging a thread in the yarn. I would say that the yarn itself is a thin and the knit is medium. You can see your legs inside but you can’t pop a limb out unless you force it.
Overall, this blanket is a great addition to my mermaid collection. I believe that as long as you aren’t reckless and follow cleaning instructions, you will have a blanket that will last a lifetime. Side note: If you have the blanket pulled all the way up and then stand, let the tail pool around you and it is a quick escape!
If you have any questions about the mermaid tail, as me or ask Mermaid Julie who is an extremely helpful and nice woman!
