Review: Bath and Body Works Bow Ties and Bourbon

I am so excited to share my first candle review! I think that it is good to know what kind of candles you are buying and what works within your budget range.

Packaging: I am absolutely in love with this mason jar packaging. The label is cute and it draws me in because it is both rustic and classy.

Durability: This candle lasted about 24-40 hours? I didn’t keep track of it entirely but it lasted about a week and a half. I am disappointed that the wick disappeared so that I couldn’t reach the 1/2″ (which you can see) and use it all up.

Smell: This is a light floral smell that doesn’t overwhelm a room but can make anyone who enters feel at ease. This candle is the perfect spring scent or entry to fall scent.

Budget: $12.50. You can get these on sale from $3-$6 depending on if you can get it during the semi-annual or candle sale. I would not buy these unless they were on sale, but that is usually how I treat everything from Bath and Body Works…avoid unless it is on sale!

What I Got For Christmas 2015!

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a great holiday with your family or however you celebrate! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, hopefully you got a day off. I have a couple of things that aren’t shown because they are just gift cards and money from my family (I love money!).

What I Got:

Nioxin Cleanser Shampoo for Fine Hair
Nioxin Scalp Therapy Conditioner for Fine Hair Revitalisant
Style I.D. Intense Conditioner
Style I.D. Intense Serum (for frizz)
Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Spray
Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Wash
Taylor Swift Calendar
Gold Dolphin Necklace
St. Ives Oatmeal Scrub + Mask
Clarisonic Luxe Replacement Head
Clarisonic Mia 2
Starbucks Gift Card
Journey of Flower Temple Bell Bracelet
Journey of Flower Tang Bao plushie

My sister and mom bought all of the skin and hair products because I had a limit that needed to be reached to stay platinum and I finally got it! I got a Clarisonic Mia 2 (not sponsored) because I have wanted one for the past 4-5 years. I had really bad acne back then and now that I have pretty good skin, I still get occasional breakouts. So, I am most excited about that for my skin. For myself, I am most excited about the Tang Bao plush that I got for Christmas because she comes from my favorite Chinese drama!

What is your favorite thing that you received?

Review: Bath and Body Works Shower Gel

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I have to say that this product is really good if you want to smell good for a little while. This product lathers really well once applied to the area and if a loofah is used it works even better. I have sensitive skin so I can’t use their lotions but I can use their body wash..weird.

Packaging: it is so hard for me to remember how many times they have changed their packaging for these items. However, I think that these are nice and sleek and the cap is easier to pop open for convenience. Now, when they change body wash packaging again this may or may not still be valid…we shall see.

Durability: The scent doesn’t last ages but lasts about thirty minutes to an hour.

Pigmentation: Depends on what scent you get. The consistency is smooth too though, which is good.

Budget: These run about $8.50 and that is pretty expensive so unless you have a signature scent or these are on killer sale, which is when I buy them for $2-$3 I think you can pass.

My favorite BBW scent is Peach Bellini and Wild Honeysuckle

Review: Suave Advanced Body Lotion

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and this is absolutely one of the best lotions (for me). I have really sensitive skin to fragrances in lotions. I have tried for a few years to get a lotion that was good and a lot of the lotions I have tried were breaking my skin out. I actually tried the Bath and Body Works in Amber Myrrh and it is absolutely an amazing smelling lotion that doesn’t break me out. Once I used that up however I found that you could only buy it online since it is probably discontinued or rare to find. I also tried Vaseline Moisture Rescue which was really great but couldn’t find that anywhere in the stores I went to. Sorry for the back story! So, since then, I found this lotion. I heard that Suave was really good and decided to try their unscented lotion.

The lotion is really smooth to apply on and it dries in a few minutes if you apply a lot but if you only apply a little, it is not sticky but your legs feel really cool against the wind if you go out right after you put it on. If you are worried about the smell it smells nice, it isn’t a definite floral or fresh or anything really but it smells neutral for all.

I don’t really have anything bad to say.

Positive: Absolutely great!

Negative: Nothing.

Review: Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer in Aqua Blossom

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and I wanted to let you know that this hand sanitizer is amazing! I know that most people don’t have scented sanitizers, but if you do and want a good one, this smells clean and fresh! I absolutely love that this smells like its name, dew-struck leaves on a cool morning by a lake (that is my description). I personally like to keep this by my bed because I am a bit of a germaphobe. The scent is stronger when you first put it on and then becomes more of a gentle smell. Unfortunately they don’t have perfumes or sprays in this, only bacterial soap and hand sanitizers. I really wish they would make it into a perfume because I really, really want to wear it as such since I like clean crisp smells. This sanitizer will sting like any other sanitizer that you get so don’t use it on open sores or cuts!

Positive: Smells great.

Negative: Stings open sores or cuts.

WTB: Bath and Body Works.

Review: Bath and Body Works Dark Amethyst Body Spray

My birthday is in February which is why my sister got it for me as a present and I totally appreciate that. I do like the scent for a more evening event. I don’t wear it often because I feel it belongs to a more dressy kind of thing. The scent is strong and overwhelming at first to the nose but after a while it sits and stays. The scent does not leave the body; you can always smell it no matter what, a truly long-lasting scent. I would recommend if you wanted a strong smell on you to last the whole day.

Positive: smells good.

Negative: I won’t buy it for myself.

WTB: any bath and body works.

ShopaHAULic 14!!

I went to the mall (Bath and Body Works, forever 21, Big Lots, and Wal-Mart). Now I have had these items for a while, but the pictures were taken day of/after. I had to edit them all and all that. I went about two to three weeks ago so sorry this is late!

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in Berry Smooch. Intense. From Big Lots.

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in Coy Coral. Super duper pretty:] From Big Lots.

My feet need love too! From Big Lots

5 for $5!!! Woo! From Bath and Body Works. I love them :]

$8.99 at Forever XXI. Too cute for words. I found no jewelry that caught my eye…

(L to R): Strawberries and Champagne, Love Spell, Ravishing Love. $2.25 at Victoria Secret. They were/are having a 75% off sale for selected scents. My sister and I couldn’t resist at all!

I needed a new moisturizer and had a coupon for it so I bought it.

That’s all and there will be reviews for some of them soon~

Review: Bath & Body Works antibacterial gel in Twilight Woods

Okay, so I will admit that the first thing that drew me to this scent was the fact that the word “Twilight” was in it. Once I smelled it though, it was amazing! I loved it for a while but never bought it since BBW can be expensive. I am also not a big fan because they use alcohol and my skin rashes easily from it. I do however love the antibacterial gel even though I think it is causing my dry skin since it isn’t cold enough yet where I live where my skin would be breaking out. Anyway, this is really good and I love the smell a lot!

Quick Review: The pink holder is really cute and cheap, only a $1.00, the gel is $1.50. Anyway, it is durable and strong, I love it.

Positive: Smells great!

Negative: Makes my skin itch?
