A short life update: It has been a crazy time in my life but I am happy/nervous/stressed to say that I am flying out to NYC tomorrow and living there for a whole year. I have an apartment, I am paying rent, I have most of my stuff curated to be shipped out. I am living a fast paced life and I wouldn’t change that for the world. I want to see the world for what it is, live my life to the extent that I can go, and hope that there are great things waiting for me.
I hope that you will follow me on this journey. It may take a while for me to get into a groove but I am hoping that I will be able to post more and about my adventures because there will definitely be many.
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I wanted to bring up the fact that dandruff is something that you won’t lose but you can maintain. I am struggling with keeping flakes away because it really inhibits me on what I wear that day. If my dandruff is coming down like a snow storm…well, I won’t wear black because I will have to shake my shoulders off often. So, I decided that I would do a once a week routine that has made my scalp a little more sensitive but helps me maintain my dandruff better.
I generally massage my scalp when applying shampoo but that can simply not be enough so I gently use my nails to remove built up skin. By using my nails I get rid of that dandruff and it can leave my scalp feeling sensitive and red in places. I know, I know, that isn’t healthy but it is something that really starts your scalp from ground zero so that when another layer of skin builds, it will be even rather than bumpy. Dandruff can build up and also cause your hair to get oily faster, at least for me, and that can be problematic. So, I am concentrating on areas that dandruff is high to remove those layers to dandruff so that my scalp can slowly rebuild to becoming a healthy scalp. I also let the shampoo on my head sit while I wash my body so that it can really sink in and work its magic.
Dandruff is super tricky because I haven’t had an outburst like this since I was in middle school. I think that this also tells me to change my shampoo because when I do, it helps a ton and keeps the dandruff at bay. I am actually not sure what in different shampoos does that to my hair. I just know that when I do change shampoos, it really kills any kind of dandruff for a little until it comes back in full force.
What shampoo do you use to help rid yourself of dandruff?

Tea is amazing for the body and if you drink enough you are like a water tank that needs to keep peeing…too much? Well, tea really cleanses the system and I know that sometimes tea can become bland because it is the same thing…but what if it were to change? Why not try adding fruit? Fruit is fresh and a great after-tea snack that you can munch on after gulping down all your tea.
You like cold teas? No problem! Another great thing about tea and fruit is that you can brew a large pot of your favorite tea and then wait for it to cool down to room temperature. Once the tea is at room temperature you can put fresh fruit in and then put it in the refrigerator for the next day or later that night. As someone who love variety, this absolutely works out for me because I love to have fresh fruit in my drinks.
How do you take your tea?

I am officially living a life…I think. I have never gone out to a party or outside of my dorm outside of a normal hour unless it was work related. These past couple of days have been fun and I think that I have found some people in my life that are truly good friends and can be a part of my life in the long haul if I can use the energy to keep in contact. I tend to let friends fall through and I really don’t want that to happen anymore.
I have gone to my first party and first movie night with friends. Now, you might think, well that isn’t too weird. I am 21 now…so I think that is a smidgen weird.
Anyway, these next couple of posts will express what has really changed in my life because I am definitely finding peace and finding challenges that are different from what I expected.
I don’t know if this post has made any sense but having the people in my life who don’t treat me like crap or take advantage of me is a really nice change.
