I am on Youtube | Florida Lookbook

I have always loved video editing. I actually have a youtube account that has all of my manga music videos that I created. So, now that I am out of college, I decided to go ahead and invest a little bit of time into things I love. I love blogging and documenting my life. I also love traveling and remembering where I go through photos and videos. Most of my photos you see on Instagram, but you don’t see the videos. So, I am compiling and creating short travel videos when I go travel. I may also share my travels through video in New York if you are all interested.

Anyway, here is my first official YouTube video. It is all footage from December 2017 when my family and I went on a trip to Disney World. It was my first trip there. Please be kind with any feedback! I have not made too many edits with moving footage, just standard pictures (if you have seen my manga videos).

Let’s Review: Inside Out

Warning you now, there will be spoilers…

So, Inside Out, a movie all about emotions…having emotions. I think that the idea is great, how our minds really grow and feel these things. Our core memories are the ones we often look back on, they hit the mark. What I think they totally missed upon was making Sadness the most annoying, character. Sadness would have been great if she would just listen. She kept doing things that Joy told her not to do for the sake of Riley. I get it, no one wants to feel left out but Sadness really ostracized herself by doing things that made everyone else upset. Joy is a great emotion that stood out and made sure that Riley had her emotions back in check. I think that Fear, Anger, and Disgust were hilarious and made me laugh when they were onscreen. I just didn’t enjoy the movie much because of Sadness, she just ruined it for me.

Did you like the movie? Let me know your opinions below.

Style Me – Zero

[The NIghtmare Before Christmas Wiki]

We all know that Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas is a ghost dog and when I saw this picture, I just knew. I had been searching for a couple of minutes and nothing was clicking, but this image just took my breath away. I also love Zero because he is just adorable and so loyal to Jack.

I think that this is so beautifully done, by whomever made this, and it really breaks my heart. I think it is because there is a soul that is still present without actually being there. So who wants to walk a mile in Zero’s shoes, literally?

Style Me – Dr. Finkelstein

Dr. Finkelstein, The Nightmare Before Christmas, always gave me the heeby-jeebies. I remember as a child when Dr. Finkelstein called for Sally and she was hiding to make sure that he didn’t spot her trying to leave.

Dr. Finkelstein is really creepy but I think that in a modern world he would be edgy and mysterious in order to enrapture those around town. I think that these gloves are different because they have this zipper that creates a vent.

These sunglasses are just perfect. Perfect! Need I say more?

If they ever made a live-action version, I want to see Stanley Tucci playing Dr. Finkelstein!

Style Me – Oogie Boogie

As a child, my first thoughts of Oogie Boogie were “NOPE.” I just knew watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, that the whole movie would give me nightmares for years. I actually didn’t muster up the strength to watch it again until a couple of years ago. Granted, I still love Jack and Sally all this time. Also, I looked through Pinterest for the “right” images that portrayed what I wanted to share with all of you so I only have two images this go around. I think that succinct images are better than too many. So, in the comments, I want to know what movie character scared you as a child.

Grungy. I wanted something that looked dirty because Oogie Boogie looks like he is just rolling in dirt all day and plotting too.

Burlap is something that Oogie Boogie wears so well. I think that the incorporation of burlap really brings someone down to earth, literally.

Style Me: Sleeping Beauty | Aurora

I don’t know what it was but watching Sleeping Beauty had me blushing as a child and I felt whimsical. A love that is actually really creepy now that I am older, was absolutely romantic for me. I loved that Prince Philip and Aurora met randomly and that they fell in love for a quick second before she fell into a deep sleep. I also thought that Aurora was much older than sixteen because her voice is quite mature. Anyway, onto the clothes, shall we?

Effortless and easy curls are what Aurora, in real life, would look in my mind. I think that this hairstyle that is on Lauren Conrad looks beautiful.

She lives in a forest, y’all. No joke, I think that this is a great top that has details and intricacies but still runs along the simple spectrum because it is the same color.

I wanted to find the perfect dress that spoke to me. If you have seen any of my other Disney Princess Style Me’s then you will know that I generally choose something that is over-the-top because a princess gown is like that and I love it. I think that because Aurora grew up in a forest and she never had the chance to grow up in her own home, the castle, that this is a perfect dress. Not only is this youthful, but it has elegance with the bejeweled overlay. Not to mention that I wanted it to have hints of pink and blue, a feat in itself.

Style Me – Belle

Belle was never someone I looked at or thought of as a princess I wanted to be. But, after years of hating books and then falling in love with books, Belle became someone I looked at with new and renewed eyes. I think that it is amazing that a young woman know what she want and not fall in love with the wrong guy because he is popular and full of himself. I also think that Belle has great morals when it comes to protecting her father and even the beast. So, what would a modern day Belle look like? Let’s get to it! Also, I have linked the Pinterest links to the image, so you can just click the image and head over to Pinterest that way!

Inexpensive dress from Wal-Mart dressed up with new brass buttons. The new buttons take it to the next level.

I am in love with this half button down dress that has a tie in the front, or you can put it in the back. I really think that this is the modern day version of what Belle would wear because it is conservative without being literal because who really wears an apron out and about? If you do, no judgment!

Quick ways to do your hair, when you don't feel like styling(for me that's always)

Belle’s hair is definitely a classic, she has a really nice and chic, pulled back hairstyle. I think that almost anyone with longer hair can do this without fail and look put together.

Of course, I could not leave out the gown! I was thinking about going literal but at the same time I don’t like to be too literal other than color. However, when I scanned Pinterest and found this, I fell hard. This gown has embellishments that I could only dream of wearing and the gloves make this modern gown spin into a classic look. The hairstyle is beautiful and really shows off the neckline.

So, what do you love most about Belle?

Style Me – Tiana

[disney wiki]

I love that Tiana is a hard working girl like the most of us and she is just trying to fulfill her dreams. I also love the music and love story, though kind of been-there-done-that, and vibe. Not to mention that the roaring twenties were some rebellious years for citizens.

Tiana wears color but in muted tones so I thought that this would be really nice and still colorful.

Although Tiana definitely looks great in color, this is an outfit that I think she would just wear on her day off because it really is comfortable. Even though it doesn’t get cold too much down south it may be a bit much but this past winter was crazy with so many weather changes.

I thought that this was an inspired gown but it has no mention and it is about wedding dresses. Anyway, this is beautiful and is almost like a real life version of Tiana’s dress.
